Food Sensitivity Test - BASIC IgG (120 FOODS)

This test is a blood test.  Once you have the requisition, you take yourself and the requisition to your nearest Life Labs.  You do a quick online search for locations and wait times.  

-You do not need to fast for this test.

-During COVID-19, it is recommended to make an appointment with Life Labs to have the test done and ensure social distancing. You can find your nearest location here:

-If there is a food that you have been avoiding, consume this food for 2 weeks prior to testing. 

-Rocky Mountain Analytical will run the test.  

-We will contact you once the results are in. 

In an IgG reaction, the IgG antibodies attach themselves to the food antigen and create an antibody-antigen complex. These complexes are normally removed by special cells called macrophages.  However, if they are present in large numbers and the reactive food is still being consumed, the macrophages can’t remove them quickly enough.  The food antigen-antibody complexes accumulate and are deposited in body tissues. Once in tissue, these complexes release inflammation causing chemicals, which may play a role in numerous diseases and conditions.
